Default Turbo for sale for cheaper than before!

I need to sell this turbo. It needs some work but nothing huge. $4800. This is for rennlist people only right now, because rennlist is so cool.

PM me, email me, or call me at 414-940-1605.

kb9vcp@wi.rr.com

I don't have a way to format pics to fit here at school. I can email them or send them on AOL instant messenger.

Name is Evan.

Update: I found one pic of it. It's not really very descriptive, but im trying!

I'm tempted to ask if you are looking for trades on great mechanical condition 944s?

Sounds tempting but I sold my nice 944 S just because it didn't have enough power.

Here is more or less the run down on the car.

I purchased the car in texas in August for more money than I am selling it for. I drove it back to Wisconsin, so obviously it runs. It is a one owner, and I have not yet transferred the title, for the sake of keeping it a one owner (reality hit quickly after I got the car--that I was going to have to sell it). I have the title and bill of sale, and can transfer the title prior to sale to myself if it makes you feel better. I am very honest about sales, sometimes to a degree that costs me money, but I hate dishonest sales people.
The good parts of the car:

+Good Suspension
+Motor is clean with good compression and no abnormal noises-- i.e. no valve tick/etc
+New Headers
+Very clean turbo phones
+New Stock Seats
+Very smooth & noise free trans, best 944 trans ive driven
+Clutch still grabs fine, but unsure of age
+All good lighting
+Good turbo w/tolerance in spec
+Good Ball Joints
+No corrosion at all anywhere--has lived its entire life in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metro area.
+Black interior. Ok, not that special, but more desirable than red.

The Mediocre (euphemism alert):

+Windshield is cracked
+Belts look fine but again, unsure of age so one would probably want to replace them
+Painted black over the original white color. wasnt the greatest repaint but the jambs are painted.
+Boost solenoid needs to be cleaned/replaced, might do this too over winter
+Could use engine mounts, like all 944's
+Interior needs cleanup. little things like the window switches either replaced/rebuilt/cleaned and such. the dash has been covered. the ODO broke on the way back from texas when my father (co-driver) hit the reset while moving. He also broke the center console lid despite being warned. Otherwise not too bad.
+Harmonic Balancer is wobbling at the end where the power steering belt is. It kept throwing the belt so I pulled the belt and drove it back the rest of the way from texas. I think it just needs a new balancer or maybe just to be reseated on the key slot (i havent had time to lock the flywheel and remove it yet.) I may try to resolve this prior to sale too. Alternator/ AC belt is fine.

That looks like alot, but I am just very descriptive about what is precisely wrong.

Basically what it comes down to is this car is a reasonably cheap turbo (it has an engine that runs and isn't wrecked, and it's below $5000). If you have alittle cash, time, and mechanical skill this car is great for you. If you have a post 85.5 or later parts car this car would be about as easy as it gets, since most things wrong with it arn't unique to the turbo. It is because of the large-scale mechanical strengths (engine/tranny/suspension) that I orginially purchased the car.

Again, it seems like there is more interest at the lower price, so I'll make sure to post some more pictures. AOL instant messenger is a great place to get ahold of me since I am working on my computer often.

Thanks, Evan
