Default Who runs Turbo Tire specs on an S2

I noticed that in the manual, the Turbo runs 225 & 245's compared with the S2 that runs 205 & 225's on the same stock rims.

The S2 and Turbo have the same underpings and I don't track, but do drive rather spiritedly. Does any one here run the turbo tires size on an S2 with stock rims ?.. and what do they think?

My main reason for wanting to do it is 'looks'.

to run 245's

according to my s2 manual, you need the M030 option

The S2 on stock D90's will have no problems running a 225/245 setup. The only issue you will have is that the car will get pulled around in ruts on the road alittle more. I plan on this change in tire size on my "track" D90s that will run some RA1's (long lasting) for autoX and DE events.

Was it all turbos that ran 245 or just the turbo S/89 turbos? Either way I know people run 245s on their stock 16" phonedials on a turbo, D90s would work just as well on your S2.

I run 225/50-16 front, 245/45-16 rear as my street setup. (For track, I run 245/45-16 at all four corners.)

You don't need to have the M030 option to run this - I don't and I have zero clearance issues. It does give you a bit more grip for your spirited driving.

You don't have to worry about anything if you go with that setup. It is more desireable.

My 86 951 came with 225 and 245 rear on the 16" fuchs rims from the factory. Should be an easy upgrade for you Pennywise.

The stock turbo and 944S2 size is 205/55 R16 fronty and 225/50 R16 rear.

Stock turbo S is 225/50 R16 front and 245/45R16 rear.

The turbo S tire size will fit on standard 16x7's and 16x8's and fit all 944's including 2.5L 8v cars.

Good.. I've got D90's and purely for the agressive looks, I'll probably make the change when its time to change tires.... it will be while though, my current set are are still new...

Thanks for the confirmations
