Since becoming Porsche-less I find that I'm hardly ever on here anymore. I did just re-up my membership so I'm not giong away completely. To be an effective mod requires spending alot of time here reading through every post. I don't have time for that anymore.
Let John know if you're interested in the job or post here why you should be a mod.

Pete, lets call it an assignment...job implies there is some pay or thanks...I am sure there is neither as a moderator

There is no pay but some people have thanked me. Some want to kill me though.

I have one (MEMBER) issue with rennlist. So I'm out.
I thankfully declined the opportunity in Hershey. Very humbled to be considered by John D. tho.
I come to Rennlist to help others, and learn something. Another member has a different objective.
I LOVE the "ignore" feature.

I decided a while back that i spent too much time on these boards. it was the only thing to do when the baby was not mobile. Now that she is all over the place, a while back i decided that like a person with an addiction I had to break it.
Have been trying to break the addiction, and volunteering for this job will just throw me about thirteen steps back.

I second that, but I doubt John has had time to watch everyone on the list to know each and everyone of us. Usually, a moderator is suggested by an admin and then followed by a vote of the other admins (or moderators in this case). At least this is how its done on the forums I moderate.
