I wanted to go but I ended up having to drill out two broken lugs on my son's VW.
Long story.

Pete, sorry that you couldn't make it, you were missed. I snagged an event poster for you if you want it, if you look close you can see corner shots of your car, my car, and UDpride's car from last year in the poster.

A shot from the mid-point break on the "spirited" Group A driving tour....

i was there the 912s were parked down by the 356's this year. I didnt get a chance to walk over and see you guys as i was in the tent at the 912 registry booth. I was supposed to have some help there, where we could take shifts, but the 912er who was supposed to help me didnt show up so i was stuck working it the whole time and couldnt get away.

we had 4 912s (5 912ers.. one guy couldnt bring his as he was getting new floor pans put in) on saturday. Jeremy took us on one hell of a driving tour. some of the guys never pushed their cars so hard in all of their lives! all they talked about at dinner was much fuin the drive was. a huge thanks goes to Jeremey for his help on Saturday.

Id like to see the event poster.

I completely missed Harry. I saw the 912s but I didnt see your car. I could have sworn I didnt see a 912 like yours with driving lights on it. Maybe the heat was getting to me by then.

Chris, you should have got a ticket to get a free one with your registration. It's the poster that has all of the little shots of pieces of cars on it in blocks so it looks like a big collage. It has the front corners of yours, Pete's, and my cars in it, along with several others. If you didn't get one, I'll try to secure a second one from John.

No problem, had a great time! I'm glad I could help out, and that Renee was so understanding about me ditching her at the last moment to take you guys out on the backroads on Saturday . The day was perfect for such a nice drive.

Yeah, I checked the local bike racing site for bike races in the area, and didn't find any. I should have thought about checking for triathlons. Doh! It wasn't that bad though, we just had to drive slow for a little bit. In their defense, those guys were probably suffering from oxygen deprevation to the brain, as they had just swam several miles. I understand where they are coming from, 100-odd Porsches passing me would have me spooked too!

Glad you liked the course, and thanks for working!

I completely missed grabbing a poster. If you would snag me one that would be fantastico!

Yes it was victory lane again. Thanks to those who voted for me if I was so worthy. It was an honest win all the way because I had several buddys with cars entered in the same class and Im sure they were whoring for attention too. The 74-88 class was a monster this year. Id say 40 cars or more. I doubt another class had 20. I always make it a point to vote for a different car so I can get an idea of vote count. I voted for the white 911 carrera with matching Fuchs which was quite impressive. My buddy in the platinum metallic turbo look took home a ribbon. Either of those three could have easily won. I was pissed I got sandwiched in between two other red 911s and bird **** was dropping like someone opened the bomb bay of a B52.

Me and Ronny.

UD, congrats on winning.
You know it was that clean Nakamichi installation that put you over the top.

When my other buddy helped me put in the rest of the stereo stuff a few weeks ago I was able to remove the head unit trim plate and pull the Nak out all by myself. I was so proud I did a victory lap.
