Default Looking for rear control arm. My friend takes a corner too fast in his 944...

and ends up pulling a Campeck. It was all curb, and left his left rear wheel at an, um, disadvantage. One would think he had never seen a decent car before. He knows better, and now has to pay (and put up with my non-stop crap). The questions are:

1) The control arm is slightly bent, are late and early rear arms different? I suspect so, but if anyone can confirm it would help.

2) He'll need a black cookie cutter too.

3) Anyone have these parts?

edited to remove a certain reference to a low spot *next* to a road.

Wow, he bent a rear trailing arm? I would be looking to see what else got bent. Takes quite a bit of force to bend the trailing arms.

Early and late arms are different, early's are steel, late's are aluminum. Specs-wise, they are the same, but the wheel bearings are different. Would be best to stick with an early arm though.

I also advise you take the wheel he destroyed, and make it into a 'stupid' hat, and make him wear it whenever he is around.

yes, a Stupid hat sounds good. He blames it on the tires, but I know better. I daily drive mine, he doesn't. As a matter of fact, he has only put about 300 miles on his.

Make sure to check the CV's out as well, make sure the half-shaft is not bent.
