Default FREE 944 in Clermont,FL!! Hurry!

Hey guys,
I was checking the computer forums today which also has a smaller car forum and ran across a guy giving away his 944! I'd say its only good for parts, engine needs rebuilt (seized) and some body damage. However, ITS FREE TO ANY TAKER.. The guys says "COME GET IT!".

Here is the link, http://www.hardforum.com/showthread....post1027851208

If you don't feel like making an account, PM me and i'll shoot the guy a PM.

Hurry, don't let another one goto the bone yard (well even if it gets parted, i'd rather see a fellow 'lister do it.)

EDIT: here are the pics he posted in the thread (tranny belongs to a RX7)

Duuuude. This is in my backyard. I would go get it but I live in an apartment complex. There is another guy on this board in gainesville. He might see this and chime in.

Gator, You are the first person i thought of. Matt O is in gainsville along with Travis (rennbay).

I think the guy just don't have time to fix it and needs to get it outta his yard. He offered to sell it to me for $800 a while back. If I lived closer i would of picked it up in a heartbeat, it would make a nice track car.

Matt lives on the east coast, and travis is really down south. Actually dang, we should get travis to put this at his place down by the mic. I'll PM him and see what he thinks. I could borrow a trailer and I could just dump it off at his property down there. Hmmmm

Yeah, i could see turning it into an autocross car. Looks like it is pretty bad. At the very least some rennlisters might get some almost free parts + shipping out of it.

If he says 85, it is likely an early car. I suspect he would go out of his way to add the .5 if it had the late model dash etc....

well, if it is really horrible this would be a great car to test the debate between matt_h and redline racing products regarding their bolt in roll-bar....
