George, I'd be interested in helping out Saturday the 20th, and maybe even Sunday. Gotta see about getting my car situation right, first (my Honda commited clutch-i-cide 2 days ago). Should be mobile by then, but who knows. Love to help out. PM me your number.

I just got my 2006 original budget schedule which will preclude me from doing anything other than work for the next 2 weeks. I am sure you know all about that. Sorry.

Amen Matt. I was just talking with my boss about that yesterday (yes, Saturday). We won't even get the format for our budget until late November and it's due mid-December. I think I'm going to start ordering Valium now. All we get until then are "things to think about" more or less. Ick.
Congrats on the Coca-Cola free days. I've been off Diet Coke for nearly a year now. I used to drink 6-8 of those suckers on any given week day. I have developed a Red Bull addiction though. Well, not really, but it's become my caffine delivery method of choice. And congrats on the 5.5 lbs. I've been hampered with injuries so I haven't been able to train and right now I'm tentative. I may be developing another stress fracture. This is irritating. I need to get running again because I know the pounds will drop once I get over 10 miles.

21st still the day ???
I've got a trip that ends that afternoon, but I'm trying to get rid of the whole thing. That would put me on vacation from the 15th throught the end of the month.
Now that Kingwood house is up and running, I should get to some things here at the lake, and be good to go.
I'll try and drive the p-car, perhaps we can get under it and see if freon will fix the A/C life support system......
PS George, Nice Pics from Alaska

The 21st is indeed the day. With any kind of luck it shouldn't be a long ordeal (famous last words). I've removed a lot of stuff already and disconnected every bit of wiring harness and hoses I can find. I have to disconnect the start which should be a 10 minute job. I've got to get a cheesehead socket to remove the halfshafts. Otherwise the doggone thing should be good to go.
I'm following the other thread on dropping the entire drivetrain at once. That might be the way to go. I'm not sure yet. I'm getting itchy to get that all out so I can take out the wiring harness and finish the paint prep.
re: the Alaska pix... Thanks!
If anyone wants to see pix from my trip to Anchorage a month and a half ago, go here:
