Default 7 in. Projector HID Headlights for 944/924?

What do you guys think of this?

http://www.xesighting.com/products_d...&cat=1&prod=94

I think it looks really silly but I guess since they'll only be on when it's dark, it won't be too bad

Since it uses *hopefully* projectors meant for Bi-Xenon HID application, the beam pattern would be nice?

yeah you can get those (and spend ~800), but what are you going to do about wiring? get an iceshark headlight kit for $350 and you'll be more than amazed.

Go with Iceshark's kit. For the same amount of money you can pick one up for yourself and mail me one!

I have yet to hear about a good xenon kit for 944s. The one sylvania had was utter garbage and this one just looks goofy.

I say save your money and get some sylvania silver stars for 20 bucks a pop. If its really burning a hole in your wallet, go ahead and get the iceshark lights - its a quality product.

BTW, what does a 944 look like when $800 headlights are the next debated project?

The OEM headlights on the 944NA are more than adequate for street driving. Anything more would be overkill....

Spend $800 to leave your lights up all the time, I just can't resist.

They look silly, and I wonder if the lamps will not retract with these bezels sticking out. There is not a great deal of clearance, at least not on a turbo/S2.

"can someone post an iceshark link, im curious to see these..."

Check this out under "Light Upgrades": GURU Racing. I've got his Cibie headlights and they are by far the best upgrade ever! I made my own wiring-harnesses and they helped a little, but didn't compare to the stock one since I didn't want to risk melting the wiring. I'm about maxed out with 520 watts under high-beams and 880 watts on flash-to-pass. My next light upgrade would probably be putting in a set of 9" rally lights or stealing something off an airplane....
