*August* 944 Variant Race Car Of The Month
Sorry for not making this post on the 1st of the month but I have been swamped with work and upcoming/ongoing family stuff.. I'll take any questions offline. Thank you to all of the people that have posted their interest in the thread. We need more race cars and variants. So without further squable here are the two choices for August.

Car was bought from Racers Edge as a street car converted to F class racer in spring of 04. 90% of the race prep was done by Racers Edge and after one season of trouble free racing, I decided to replace the wear items listed above and tweak the car to my liking.(seats, mirrors, brakes etc.) The car is outstanding and easy to drive fast. Compared to my old 993 race car (C class) it is as quick (as I have become a better pilot) and more fun to drive at the limit. All in, the car has about 45K invested in it (car purchase price and upgrades/mods/engine refresh)
You are welcome Eric, enjoy this months spotlight!!
Here is car # 2 The STREET CAR. Jake offered up the info on his 944 w/out a hesitation so here is his spot. Jake has put a LOT of effort into his 944 and there is still more to come from my discussion with him.

- 4 4x6 polk audio speakers
Interior:
* Interior conversion to black
* Dashboard change in progress
* Headwork done by a local Dallas shop

* MSD Igntiion System
* MSD Blaster Coil
Sorry, I am trying to upload the attached photos that Eric and Jake sent but having only a limited uplink at this time it will take a while. I will have to add photos when I can.

Michael, you need to NOT post them as BMP's that's why they are taking FOREVER. Almost a mb apiece! Convert them to jpg and then repost them, or when they are all up I'll do it for you.

Nice cars, here are the last couple images which arent BMP's converted to JPG. For some reason I'm "Not welcome on the Rennlist members server", according to my FTP client, right now otherwise I'd upload them. So Michael if you wanna save these, then rehost them and edit your post it'll be alot easier for everyone to view. The content size with zero quality loss is reduced by about a megabyte!

Jake, that might be one the nicest, stock-ish NA's I've ever seen. What part of Dallas you in? My mom lives in Useless; er, Euless.
Eric, you sir have one awesome race car. I think the coolest thing might be the fact that you're faster in it than your 993. Proving yet again that driving a 911 at the limit makes you look like a hero, while you can simply have heroic drives in a 944. Or whatever. GREAT car! Love the buzzin' hornets. Seeing as how your car IS August Racecar of the month, I think it's your obligation to post more pics (interior, motor, chassis, and the trick pedal setup) for the honor bestowed upon you.
And finally, Michael (and you too, Macfreak). This is good stuff, man. Like soup; it's good for you. Way to go, and thanks!
