Unhappy Condolences to the Wray family..

I got a PM from Ice Sharks family, as I've been waiting for a negative battery cable for a while... all it said is that Dan Wray has passed on, and that they will try to make sure all orders go out.

I have no idea what happened, so please, don't ask me.

My condolences to Dan's family, and Dan, may you rest in peace.

Mods, if in someway this is not allowed, let me know, and I'll remove the thread.

Oh my gosh...

I don't even know what to say, I'm truly in shock...

My deepest condolences for the Wray family. Dan was such a great guy, and was one of the biggest assets to this community.

Rest In Peace, IceShark.

What?! I am deeply stunned and saddened. I've had a couple of interactions with him in the past -- and he was always helpful and enthusiastic about working on these cars. He will be greatly missed...

This one is for you Dan !

Thanks for giving us the heads up Geoff. I'm sure your posting will save the family the angst of having to tell someone else the news.

Years ago I posted the some punks stole the tire valve caps from my RX7 convertible. Dan told me he had a NOS set he didnt need. They are currently sitting in the back of a drawer in my office.

I'm truly sad to hear about Dan. Didn't know him beyond these boards, but from that he seemed an honest and all around good guy. I'd like to pass my sympathies to his family so that they can know that he touched a lot of us they don't know about, and that we will miss him.
Maybe this thread when completed can be passed on to them.

Wow, I think he last posted just a few days before he passed away.

Parents shouldn't outlive their children - at just 53... damn.

RIP Dan.

From the obituary sounds like he was a helluva guy. Constructed his own sail boat too.
My condolences to his family. RIP Dan.

That's terrible, shocking news.

I only knew Dan from a few emails and from his posts here, but it was obvious from those few interactions that he was a good person.

He will be missed.
