My wife's pretty understanding but she'd disagree with your ethusiastic stand and I'd be modified to a short-shifter pretty quickly. I think I'd be limited to "P." Good luck, buddy. Sleep lightly

"I have a P tatooed on my uh.... lets say shifter and when I am "enthused" it reads Porsche there is no substitute !!"

I'm a true car enthusiast, i'm not partial to any brands. I don't care if it says Porsche on my car. If it said Yugo i'd still drive it. That about sums up my entusiasm. I guess i'm more of a driving enthusast.

LtReid:
yea a true one would goto germany just to visit the porsche factory! (and do the driving course they have over there).
Never been myself, but I know a couple in PCA that went & the pics were awesome! They drove on the "ring" & shot some very cool video of it.

Also, if you see a p-car that you haven't seen around your town, and you pull over in whatever your driving (if your not driving your p-car, you wish you were just to show it off) and take a look at it, and hey sometimes even try and find the owner and just strike up a conversation. (I catch my self doing this all the time)
ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!

I think the most insane thought was that Seriously considering quiting my job and going to work for the Porsche Shop and work side by side with my Mechanic. Not to say it is an honest living. Just that I am that addicted. I figured how freaking great could it be to every day of my life wake up and work on Porsches all day long. Caymens, boxsters, ect.....! Then ins and outs.
Instead I becasue of my job moving about 1 1/2 hours away from Stuttgart, GM! Yes, I am happy
take a big guess where my 951's motor will be totaly rebuilt?

I love working on my cars too, but would NEVER do is as a profession. Have you ever seen a happy mechanic? By the time they are 10 years into it, most of them will hate working on cars. As a hobby it’s fun but as a profession it sucks.

Trust me, keep it as a hobby and get a nice career in something that’s more rewarding.

Porsche tattoo shamattooo. tattoos are so permanent.

my girl was thinking of getting the porsche crest tattoed on her butt, but I thought otherwise.

Instead I nailed her while she was on the hood of my porsche. Now my porsche has her butt impinted on it and the porsche crest is imprinted on her butt.

ok so my dad and grandpa used to race vw rails and baja's and somehow the german bug bit me and im into p-cars. My girlfriend drives one every day, i have more posters of p-cars than i have wallspace and my car gets driven more than its washed, which is alot. I just got the "rookie of the year" trophy at the PCA end of the year awards ceremony and my wardrobe has more shirts w/ porsche written on them than old navy or hilfinger. I have around 2000 porsche pictures on my harddrive and 2000 more of my porsches that ive owned. Then i have one file of other pics. I would consider myself an enthusiest
