Betsy....We all had a special place in us for your brother. I am not of the ones who were waiting to tie up any loose ends but Dan did help me out a great deal on a problem I had last year. He was very kind and helpful. He called me a few times just to ask if I solved the problem. He was a great person. I don't know of the shark encounter so If you would be so kind to fill us in. Many of us don't know what happened to him (myself included). Thank You so much and may the Great Spirit bless you and your family.....nineeagles

In case any one is wondering, we had a hard time finding a decal printer to print the Iceshark decals for a price we could afford. Tony (BlueS2) worked hard and got a place lined up, and they should be done in approx 12 days. Thanks for your patience!

I'd be interested in helping with the construction of battery cable sets, but I think I'm a bit too far north to help. If not, I'll do what I can to help.

I thought www.cibieusa.com sold the same lenses as well?...
Does anybody know the part number for the lenses?

Zero10, the lenses are the standard size of 7.5 inches. The part number on the box is #082440. Just make you you get the light pattern for a left hand drive car. The sharp cutoff which is supposed to prevent glaring other drivers will just throw light right up into their field of view!

That would such a great tribute if we could find a way to continue making these kits and as suggested earlier pay a royalty to Dan's family.

Nineeagles--Go to the thread "Iceshark memories" to read about the shark story (it's at the end). Someone pasted in an old e-mail where Dan told the story.

I just read the story of "IceShark" and I am amazed by him. I've never met him but he appears to have been very passionate about diving as he did making the fine lighting kits he produced. He certainly deserves the praise he has gotten on this board and im sure from his family.

I too am thankful for Iceshark everytime I open up my hood. He truly was a great person. Thanks Betsy for handling his affairs after his passing, it is a testament to what Dan stood for and I see it runs in the family. Although I only met him once in person, I am happy I had that oppurtunity.
