Default Best wheels for a late model 944?

I need a new set of wheels and tires for my ride. I want your guy's opinions on what the best looking wheels are on a 944. I am looking for a set of correct offset , direct bolt ons, with no need for spacers , in a 17inch wheel. Pics and prices would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am a big fan to the 17" sport classics. Only spacer needed is 1/4 inch in front so that center caps will fit in the wheels.

Ronal Bears! Some girl at school had those on her Saab.

Just put black Boxter twists on my 951, just made it look 10 years newer - pics sometime when I get my act together.

Hacker,

Those will contrast nicely with your bas-*** track car. You've got them in 17"?

Thanks for the quick feedback guys, I like the cup wheels also, but I have an 86 and I think those wheels only bolt up to a 87+ anything that is a 17inch direct fit for an 86? Also does anyone have a pic of the Sport cCassics that were mentioned? What is your feeling on wheel spacers for the front of a car? Will it effect handling, the steering geometery or anything like that? Thanks again. FE RWD for life.

Turbo twists also look extremely, extremely nice.

Judson951 had 996 turbo twists, and that was one of the best looking 944s I've seen.

First person to get pics of the bear wheels on a 944 (for real, no photochops) gets a prize!

I'm partial to CCW's myself for the no frills look. I'd trade them in a NY minute for a set of forged Teddy Bears in Yogi Brown though
