82 Vettes suck! Rattly disco left-overs! '82 was a terrible year for American cars in general. My brother in law had one of those '80 (I think) anniversary vettes, silver with a blue racing stripe on the hood. Drove like a '76 Monte Carlo only much louder!

Yup, Vette's back then had only a very small advantage over an NA on acceleration and couldn't keep up in the turn or on the brakes.

"Downsizing the fleet" it is, need to fit a garage like mine!

You don't want an 82 vette. 75 or earlier, or 85 or later. 76 - 84 were crapola.
Correction...pre 75 with metal bumpers and all Corvettes until 1997 were crapola. Certainly you dont want an early C4. Perhaps a 96 GS, 96 LT-4 but no other C4 if you can avoid it.
