How does it fit around the edges? My coverlay came close , but not quite.

I found a perfect whole dash from an '83 in a junkyard in Tampa (Cofer Brothers) - just a very small crack and that was it. $40. Took me a while to remove it, though.

It may pay to check around - they do exist out there.
