Question Re-dash anyone?

I was killing some time, looking at all the cool stuff that I will probably never be able to afford, and came across this dash kit from porsche palace. Has anyone bought or installed this product? I emailed the company for more info, but I thought I would try to get some unbias opinions. Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks.

here is the link (hopefully it works)

I have one in my 1986 Na. I tore out an old Coverlay
unit and installed this one. Nice quality, and you can
sometimes save some money buying one on E-Bay.

so is it a dash cap? or that residue stuff? whatever it is it looks real good, although the color seems a tad grayer than the rest of the interiors in the pictures.

wait is it for all these components?
how much for it?

They say they are remanufactured dashboards made from OEM dash cores. Interesting... much cheaper than a new dash and will probably last longer than a nice original dash. I want to know how the quality is.

It is just a dash cap, although it IS a good one. I think they mean
that the mold was made from a perfect core. No way you could
buy a complete dash for that kind of money. And I have heard
installation of a complete dash is a nightmare. There is a place on
the west coast JUST DASHS that rebuilds your core but I think it
ends up costing about a grand!

I put on a dash cap and it looks great. Do it on a hot day and make sure that you get lots of glue all around the edges.

Anyone know what they cost for an early model? I have a dash cap and it's starting to come unglued.

That's my dilemma - I know we talked about how cool it would be to make a spec car, but after getting new seats and interior and a new dash, I doubt I'm about to beat the hell out of it on the track anytime soon. . .

I bought a plastic cover redash for my 84, and man does it look amazing! Has the same grain as the stock dash. Get one, you will not be sorry.
