don't waste your money on a new ignition system, the stock one works great and already is putting out 30,000 + volts
drilling air holes will do nothing but make more sound, if you like that then thats great its your car do what you like
have fun with it

Shoot me a PM next time you guys are getting together. A fun run would be cool too, I missed the NOR Cal GTG last weekend as I was aquiring this fine automobile.

Default Thanks for the compliments guys

I had to get this car, I just bought a '95 M3 but this car kinda fell into my lap and I could not pass on it. My buddy was on the net looking for a car for himself , saw this cherry S2, then he thought about how I have wanted one for like 6 years now, ever since I got my '86 N/A. (which will be for sale very soon) That is when I learned of the machine they call the S2 and have wanted one ever since. I could not pass on this opportunity, I know if I did I would regret it forever. I still can't believe the deal I got, car is pretty much 9/10 all the way around, the front has some paint chips, steering wheel needs to be restitched and the seats are not perfect, but almost. Well money will be tight for a little while, but my dream garage is pretty much complete. Cheers fella's

Great to hear from ya. Hollister is just south of us. Not too far. We have several projects coming up this weekend and next. Tomorrow we'll have 3 951's and 1 993 in the morning. The 993 and Ben's 951 are swapping wheels. This will be quick. The other 951 (Jim) we'll be trying to put stock pats and maint back on it. He failed Smog test last week both emissions and visual inspections. Hard to believe but he failed visual for a BOV being the stainless steel type and not OEM.

Next week if he passes the SMOG test we're installing a Lindsey MAF and Mafburner on his car and also a wideband kit.

Hope to see you there.

Motation, that is a damned nice S2.

i'm a sucker for linen interior.

i almost picked up a copenhagen blue (?) 951 w/ linen interior, but it was in LA, and it didnt have good records.

still- your car is very very nice and i hope to see you on the next Nor Cal run.

Very nice car. I tried to buy it, but you are the bugger that beat me to it. Happened again yesterday with a red 968. You guys are snapping up all the good ones at reasonable prices!

Ahhh, you were lucky I did not see that car for sale. I loved the look of my old Dove Blue 89 S2, and would have preferred the linen interior (mine had a blue interior.)

Fantastic car. Enjoy.

That is a GREAT color combo. Try to find a modern 911 that looks that cool! Gotta love Porsche's diverse colors in the 944's. That is a particularly nice one indeed!

I have the Cargraphic exhaust on my S2... but don't expect find any pictures on my website as I have not taken any yet You can see some pictures at http://www.cargraphic.de/index.php?/s,6,7,18,720,738/ and the page following.

Looks like they have two versions now, the cat back and the N-GT. I have the N-GT which includes a new 100 cell racing cat with new pipes off the header. The sound is slightly louder than stock in normal driving, and much louder when your foot is really in it. This particular version was developed for the racing series in Europe. There aren't any bad resonances and everything fits great. Emissions are no different and power is definitely higher. The whole system was expensive, around $1800, and was special order from Germany through the US Cargraphic distributor. Looks like the cat back version lists for 574 Euro, which is more reasonable. It's all beautiful stainless.
