Default I think i want a tan interior...

Not tan, like, linen tan, but like the newer porsche tan. This tan...

I know it would be easy to do the seats and carpet...but should I keep the top part black? Like the dash, a-pillars, and ceiling?

Gimme a min to photoshop it so you can get a better idea....

There we go.

Not sure about the seats. Maybe some black on the center console to add to the contrast. A-Pilar didnt look to well in black.

First Photo of your pic modified with black.
Second Photo posted by 944moneypit, which I modified to have that rich tan color.

YEP! I am so doing that!! But, I do believe that the trim going across the center of the dash, where the clock sits, would HAVE to be silver or something...

Edit: I am also wondering what saddle brown would look like...hmmmm

Could you shop this to have that tan color too? So I can see it with the body color of my car?

Interesting. The 968 had a darker tan interior that was what I call a ballglove tan. I think they called it Bahama tan or some such. I am in the process right now of taking a black interior out and putting a tan interior in... I am not looking forward to doing the dash replacement...

In all of this I have discovered that there are two light beige colors in the 944 series. Linen which is the lighter and then the light grey which is what everybody calls tan.

AHA!! I didn't know that, so I went searching, and guess what I found. Exactly what I want.

That pic is right off 968 Forums. I agree, it is a much nicer tan. What about cashmier? Was that darker then linen? Champagne is.

I think that interior color is called Cashmere.

I've seen it more on 968s than in 944s. It's nice though...

The darker tan was called Champagne in 944's and Cashmere in 968's, same color as far as I can tell.

Here's what mine looks like right now:

And here's a Photoshop that Testarossa_TD did for me with the door panel insert in Champagne:
