Default 944 s2 Belt whine until warmed up

Hi - apologies I am new to all things porsche.

I recently bought a '91 944 s2 that has just passed 110k.

I have started to notice that when I start the car from cold - there is a very noticeable whine coming from the belts. The whine intensifies when rev'd.
After 5 minutes or so when the car is warmed up, the noise dissapears.

The belts were changed just over 1 year ago at 102K and I believe the car was serviced at 109K. I presume the belts would have been re-tensioned since they were new but i'm thinking it doesn't sound like it

Should i be worried about this whine even though it dissapears when warmed up?

They are supposed to be retensioned i think 3k after you put them on. might be time for that if it has not been done since you put them on.

Best,
Aaron

Incorrect tension on other belts (accessory belt and/or power steering belt) can also cause a whine when cold.
