thanks Mike, even at $109.99 (they charge more when mailing to WA...) it's still cheaper than competition, especially that the core is much lower, and I suspect I wouldn't get it back as my old unit has cracked plastic sections of the solenoid.

I had to get my first one replaced after a year, the solenoid was sticking (starter would not turn off)

Ok, I just installed one of the starter. Seems to work great. Car does not even crank. Just one click and fires right up. The old starter was tired and had to crank the engine for a little bit before staring up.

However, the heat shield is more than a tight fit on the turbo. I can only attach the front mount points on the shield. The rears did not match well so I just bent them out of the way.

I just wanted to know others fastened their heat sheild on this big starter...
