Question on sub box
I'm redoing all my speakers as part of a rear seat delete project. I will relocate a sealed box 10" dual-voice coil sub into a new enclosure where the spare tire goes. My question is should I use a sealed box or do a ported enclosure. I listen mostly to blues and rock and prefer a good clean bass track and not the head numbing thump. Does a ported sub produce tighter bass? What are the differences between the 2 enclosures as far as sound? Thanks

In short, a sealed box will produce crisper response; idea for rock and blues.
A ported box will allow the sub to move more freely; ideal for boom bass.
