Wink Parts Cross Reference

Sometime ago, I was reading a thread about the cheap version of the ref and speed sensors. By the time I needed to get one, I would have liked to have a quick reference page to find the BMW part #.

So, I created a page that hopefully we can help to populate. If one already exists, please send me the link. Otherwise, I hope others can add things that they found.

Also, if an administrator can make this a sticky, it would be great.

Nice, thanks for the post... great link to have. I too was thinking of replacing my sensors while doing my current rebuild. Always nice to savea few bucks!

You can cross ref between cars all the parts that Bosch makes at:

http://ecat-online.bosch.de/toc/frame1.html

Doesn't work well from Mozilla.

This is an excellent idea!

The saturn studs that will work in place of our exhaust studs and intake manifold bolts (at least on a 951) are part number 11518152. They are also way cheaper than Porsche studs and have a torx tip, which makes them easy to install and remove.

Well, I was hoping that there would be more people contributing information. I'm going to keep my eyes open and try to fill out this list more.

The fuel pressure regulator from some late 80s BMW 5 series is a 44.2 psi regulator. This is equal to 3 bar. The stock FPR on a 951 is 2.5 bar, but the 3 bar is a common upgrade. the BMW part number is 13 53 1 711 541, and the Bosch number is 0 280 160 249. Napa also has two listings for this item, part numbers CRB219514 and BA 1580242, however these may not be manufactured by Bosch and may not be reliable.

Napa also has a fuel injector seal kit that fits our cars, the part number is CRB 2-12085.

Again, Napa has a radiator temperature switch that will fit the 951 (and possibly the NA as well, I'm not sure if the temperatures are different). It is a Napa part, not OEM, but I have one in my car and have had no problems. The part number is ECHFS227.

That's all I've got right now.

Epic,

Thanks for your input. I am knida of new to the porsche thing so I don't have much experience to offer... Those are the kinds of unique things that everyone can benefit from.

Got mine from pelican parts. Yes, they both are the same. I have an extra one (new) if you are interested. But if you need 2 better just to get them both from pelican.

I posted about the BMW sensor last year; direct replacement, works fine, I just tied the extra cable into a loop with cable ties. Same sensor is also found in the 968.

Sensor part numbers:
An OEM (Bosche) Number for the 944 sensor is F6010-12761 List $194.53 Disc. $105.35 (autopartswarehouse.com)
An OEM (Bosche) Number for the BMW sensor is F6010-12760 List $96 Disc. $59.94
Substantial price difference if you need three for two cars.

Additional Part #s
944/968 Bosch # 0 261 210 003 (this is also marked on the sensor I removed from the 944)
BMW part # 12 14 1 708 618

I found the F6010 numbers used on several websites and a local German car shop also was able to find the sensor using the F6010 number. Parts and Accessories.com was a couple of bucks cheaper.

A few more numbers to add to the list:

A replacement for the stock 951 blow off/recirculator valve is the Porsche 993 recirculator valve, which (apparently) is a little stronger the original 951 part. Here are some numbers for the part:
Porsche: 993 110 337 50
VW: 034 145 710 A
Saab: 75 39 257
Volvo: 1275883
Bosch: 0 280 142 110
Bosch: 0 280 142 108

I don't know how helpful this will be, but I have a wide band oxygen sensor that I purchased from Lindsey Racing. I think they might be using a different sensor now (although I am pretty sure the only difference is the connector), however the exact sensor that came with my kit is standard on a 2000 Cadillac Catera. I bought one through NAPA that I ordered for the Cadillac, so I can personally vouch that it is the correct one. Here are some numbers again:
Cadillac: 919-8809
Saturn: 24450850
Bosch: 0 258 006 065
Bosch: 0 258 006 066
Napa: BSH16065

Default Relays

Not sure if this helps, but courtesy of Porsche Porn:

"X" relay (G-14): 191 937 503, G-2, G-11, G-13: 141 951 253 B, can all be replaced with: 141951253B from a VW dealer. Much easier to get and they only charged me $5.06/ea. at my local VW dealer.
