Default It'll be a lean christmas in my house this year :o)

Well, I finally got my 91 s2 back from the garage.

It had a dead hole. 2 springs had gone on one of the exhaust valves. Hence no compression on cylinder 4.

So, off came the head and away it went for some specialist head work. Thankfully all valves were said to be fine but 8 new exhaust guides were fitted. Some welding and skimming was done on the head and a new gasket fitted.

Whilst they were about it, I now have some new tensioners and idle rollers, new cam and balance belts, oil change, filter and coolant. Add on a new alternator, fan belt and power steering belt and hey presto - the kids won't be getting shoes this Christmas.

On a different note, are there any 944 owners in Scotland around here?

Santa may not be able to afford many presents, but at least his sleigh has new belts and valve guides.
