Great thread.

With the manifold off you have to replace the AOS seals. This is a cause for the oil in the intake.
Also,
Replace all pinch clamps with fuel injection hose clamps for the small lines and non perforated screw clamps for the larger vac lines.
Replace the heater control valve if there is a white deposit on the valve. It drips on the ref sensors and clutch and will corrode.

Set the ref sensor gap. If you are able to, remove the reference sensors and clean the sensor bracket sensor holes and use a little anti seize on the sensor.

Thanks John, I plan on doing the AOS seals. Ive replaced the reference sensor using anti-seize. Would have been much easier with the manifold off.

Update :

Here we are with all the goodies cleaned,re-fabbed or replaced. Hopefully all this brings a few ponies back. Getting all this out of there is also allowing me to finish cleaning the final grounds I haven't been able to get to. There are a few on the back of the engine block I believe as well as the bell housing.

Finally got a chance to clean those grounds on the bell housing.

Prepped and ready for AOS to be installed with new seals.

Clutch Slave cylinder replaced along with hard and soft lines. Also replaced the cranky old wiper motor. Turns out it had a bad bearing. Dis-assembled and cleaned the brushes on the yard motor I had. Smooth as silk once again. Looking at picking up a hatch from someone local rather than resealing mine.

This spring I have probably put down the most consecutive miles in the past weeks since I've had it running.

Picked up a hatch off local member Doug951. My old hatch glass was badly de-laminated from the frame. This one should hopefully keep me out of the waterfalls for a few years of car washes. Had to swap motors. Lined up perfect the first time, and now I can actually use the powered button to unlatch the hatch.
