Anyone here hoarding 944's in Dixon, CA?
Just wondering if this is anyone on the board. I've been driving by a rural farm on Hwy 113 south of Dixon for weeks now. I spotted two 944's and a 924 being stored or parted out. Today the Sapphire Metallic 944/951? and the silver 924 were gone and a black one was parked near the house. I was going to stop by last week and inquire about them...guess I was too late.

I've been spotting 944s too (Black early 944 today at the ARC) here in Davis. It's a little disturbing how giddy you get when you spot a 924/944 isn't it?
I even knocked on a guys door that had a 931 in the driveway, he was the original owner!

You've probably admired the 1991 Toyota Cressida parked on Alvarado (that's mine).

I was annoyed when I started driving the 951 to school last semester because all of the sudden there was a 944s that was the same color being driven every day as well. Of course since the 951 is out of comission this semester I have yet to see the 944... I also occasionally see a red S2 driving around, but have no idea where it lives.

I've seen only 5 other 944s in all of San Diego lol...a red one, a white one, and a blue one and then a silver one...and champagne.
But mine is way cooler than all of theirs combined because it's well...mine. And has BBS's.

I go to a community college, and I've seen a chick driving a Guards Red 968 Cab, another chick with an Elise, and some random other high end cars enter the parking lot. Pretty silly for a 2yr college.

I just purchased a Red early 85, I'm in the Folsom area, So if you see a Red 944 with a black Bra on it its me. This car has been in Hermosa beach all its life so its fairly new to the area. Kinda of topic but any one know of a good 944 mechanic in the area...

If you think that's bad, you should go visit USF sometime. I would drive through the undergrad campus trying to find parking sometimes and see all the pimped out Mercedes and M5's. There's a student there with a 996-based RUF 911 Turbo and another with a fly-yellow Gallardo. There's yet another student (who is on Rennlist) that has a white 996 GT3 you'll see around campus too.

damn...i go to school in NH (Dartmouth College) and the only nice cars around campus are down at the business school...amongst undergrads, there are a few guys with older 5 series, a lot of A4's and 3 series and stuff like that, but nothing crazy...haha I think my friend (who has a 968) and me are 2 of maybe 6-8 undergrads who drive sports cars and probably the only Porsches

My local comunity college has a bunch of m series bmw's and tuners (including an r32 skyline), but nothing crazy expensive. Still enough to make you wonder where they get the money for the cars.
