Default CA Smog Results with Promax Scivision Stealth MAF

These are the before and after California Smog results on my 1987 951 after installing the Promax SciVision stealth MAF kit. I am pleased with the results. You guys know how strict CA's rules are.

BEFORE

Mileage 82,759 Date: 05/2005 Mods: Guru chips, LBE @ 15 psi (CV deleted), 3Bar FPR, Tial 38mm wastegate, 3" catback w/ Borla XR1, factory original catalytic convertor, K&N panel filter, Stock AFM.

Speed / RPM / CO2 / O2 / HCmax / HCavg / HCmeasured

15mph / 2432 / 14.4 / .1 / 116 / 31 / 45
25mph / 2451 / 14.5 / .1 / 91 / 20 / 17

CO%max / CO%avg / CO%measured / NOmax / NOavg / NOmeasured

.74 / .10 / .33 / 791 / 237 / 780
.62 / .09 / .15 / 730 / 199 / 506

AFTER

Mileage 84,737 Date 05/2007 Mods: Guru chips, LBE @ 15 psi (CV deleted), 3Bar FPR, Tial 38mm wastegate, 3" catback w/ Borla XR1, factory original catalytic convertor, K&N panel filter, Promax SciVision Stealth MAF.

Speed / RPM / CO2 / O2 / HCmax / HCavg / HCmeasured

15mph / 2526 / 14.1 / .2 / 116 / 31 / 73
25mph 2350 / 14.3 / .0 / 91 / 20 / 37

CO%max / CO%avg / CO%measured / NOmax / NOavg / NOmeasured

.74 / .10 / .54 / 791 / 237 / 765
.62 / .09 / .39 / 730 / 199 / 307

Obviously the MAF passed the visual test and aced the sniffer portion with room to spare. It looks like almost all of the measured numbers went slightly up, except, interestingly enough, for NOX which has been the culprit in many a failed 951 smog test.

Glad to hear that things went smoothly. When's the next Saturday morning wrenching session at Efren's?

Any more pics of the maf setup, in particular how the maf is connected to the air box?
