Ummm... given the $90 difference, I'd go with the Bosche replacement. Many Bosche parts came factory on the car anyway. You're replacing the cap also... aren't you?

Just be glad that you don't have an S, when I got a cap and rotor for mine a couple of years ago they were about $110.

I actually went with an OEM PORSCHE replacement for just $35 at PAP-Parts in Powell (the cap was still in great condition, so i did not replace it...yet! LOL).

PAP had GREAT customer service and i would highly reccomend going to them.

Hopefully i will be able to install it soon and will be back on the road in time to go to the TAJ!

well that distributer rotor did the trick! My car is now running great, and i have put nearly 400 miles on it within the last week. I then hit a racoon last night and cracked the lower part of my front valence! (but luckily it's not that bad)

Thanks again, rennlist, for all of the great helpful advice that got my car back running happily!

*on a side note i will not be able to make it to the Taj this year due to a commitment with my "significant other" ( ) and our families.

I also sent my wires baack to Pelican after talking to another sales assosciate, and am now just waiting for them to credit my card. They wanted to make the situation right after i told them my whole situation.

You should drive you significant other to it. No problem.

Oh.....you didn't mean the car, did you?

Haha, no worries guys, i just wanted to see your reactions! She does love Porsches, spots sweet cars before i even notice them, and she even recomended that i upgrade my 944 NA not to a turbo, but to a 911 GT3 RS..... I don't know what more i could ask for!!

My family does have plans that we can't back out of, so no Taj for us this year. I WILL (and maybe the GF) be at 944fest, the Dublin Immke Show, and P2O.

Seriously though, no worries!

See what i posted just a moment later? https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-944-951-968-forum/360276-annual-central-ohio-meet-drive.html
