I do not have Perry's kit but the FlamingEye LED's made by Darren in the UK. Not sure if he is still making them or not. The dimmer still does work, but the LED's do not dim very noticably. I would say in the area of 10-15% difference in brightness between max bright and full dim.

LED load equalizers often help. They are available in most chain auto parts stores.

Does this include the instrument panel and the climate control?

Perry, if you are still making these, put me down for a set, white please.

PS: Everyone, replacing the bulbs with LED's make it worse, if you use that 194 LED buld (whatever it is), it did not work out very well, the stock was brighter.

When you say replacing with LED's is worse, I am confused? It seems to be the common method to brighten the dash in general?

Yes.

Wire two LEDs in Series, to raise the total forward drop voltage. -Reduce the value of the series resistance slightly to compensate.

I was under the impression that it was just the gauge cluster.

And speaking of which -- any progress on this front at all?

Still not sure how to finish this climate control light project.
Was there any success in just replacing the bulbs with standard OEM ones or doing the LED upgrade.

And? At least he didn't start a new thread and have it filled with "why didn't you search." He has a question, let him ask it.

I have LEDs from NH SPeedo & the dimmer DEFINATELY STILL WORKS! I'm not sure how this got started, as I know others say their dimmer still works w/LEDs, although some have said it wont have as much range- mine has plenty of range- mine are too bright even on lowest setting, but I haven't played w/resistors yet.

Perry951- I'm interested- And I'm 100% definately, for sure, interested, if you can do clmiate control.
