You should be able to swap another DME into it with no problems. It must be from a 951 however, not the N/A car. Just because it "looks" OK on the inside, it still may have a crack in a solder joint that needs a microscope to see. That would be what I would try next.

Oops, missed that in post 7. Yeah, try swapping DME's. If the car you swap with won't start once it gets yours in it and yours is fine, you've found your problem?

open up your DME harness connector so you can test to see that you have greater than 2.5 volts at pins 25 and 26 while cranking the engine. Ground to the battery.

there is a screw on the end and you'll have to snap the zip tie and slide back the rubber cover, then it slides right off

the reason I say to test these is because you may have broken a connection in the S&R sensor HARNESS while playing around with it - this happened to me while I was replacing vacuum lines, the wires get very brittle and crack very easily, only you cannot see this because of the shielding

Ok.... good tip... what I'll do though to test continuity first is unplug each sensor one by one and connect my 9V battery to each pin and make sure that I get 9V at the DME connector....
I think I may do that to all the engine harness connectors...

Swapped DMEs with Chitown944 and his 951 fired right up with my DME.....

So I went home and figured I got nothing to lose and spliced in the S&R connectors with the two good ones from my 924S.
Did the same fuel test before I put the intake on.....FUEL IN THE BOTTLES!!!

So I bolted everything back together and the car started right up.....AAAAHHHHHH

to BOOST again....lovely....
