No Start-No Click. WTF?
Alright,
Finished my belt job, put everything back together. The car started twice fine, but third time it didn't. There is no click to signify a dead battery, so what's the deal? I just put in a different starter to eliminate that possibility, but to no avail. Any and all ideas would be appreciated. I can hear the fuel pump make noise when I turn on the ignition.

There is no click with a completely dead battery....you get nothing at all!
Double check the ground cable to the battery, maybe you didnt tighten it and it popped off.

I'll also need to figure out if the alarm that used to be in the car is totally removed and not interfering.
This was supposed to be an easy job...
Also, can't the ignition switch be eliminated because the fuel pump goes on?

Bet it's your grounds....and you can jump the starter (see Clark's Garage for a How-To)...but PLEASE...do not do this with the rear tires on the ground...would hate to see you get run over while checking out your starter!!!!!

If the starter runs if I jump the power to the solenoid switch, the ground must be okay, right?
Clark boots me back to ignition switch / wiring between ignition switch and starter. Ghar!

Can someone give me a list or a site with all the locations of ground wires? I only know of one that goes to the crossmember. Gotta at least look at them
