FI 924s?
I've been trying to research forced induction to a 924s as i'd like to go that route someday. i can't find that much info and was looking for some pointers. First off i know its the same as an 8V 944, i just said 924s since thats what i have.
From what i have found there aren't that many pre-built kits, i've found SFR's kit but no others. Do most people make their own kits?
On the side of safety, from what i've learned the trans axle won't take extra power, so swapping it with a 951 or 968 trans axle is a good idea. Also since the NAs have higher compression than the 951, the compression should be lowered for anything more than low (say to 7 or 8 psi) boost.
Anything i'm missing? I'm just trying to start figure everything out so that when i do have the extra resources to go this route i know what i'm doing.
P.S. if there is a thread already discussing this please just point me in that direction. i spent a good hour searching tonight, but didn't find much.

where's the fun in that.
i'm sure its easier, but when i get around to it i want it to be more of a project. plus i like superchargers better than turbos.

This is one of many threads about supercharging. I plan on doing it too.

Do a search for Callaway Turbo's there weren't any 924S's done originally but it'd be a start, if you google Callaway 944 and theholyoak you should find a gobs of information on the Callaway and a pretty good documentation by a rennlist on the rebuild.
