I think the purple chassis is a nice touch.

All it needs now is a driver with a mullet, and a pack of marb reds in his rolled up t-shirt sleeve.

Whats wrong with this?!?! Why is it bad??? I dont mind a 944 representing the 944 model on the strip. I think the car is built beautifully and the amount of work he has done is very impressive. Why are you hating this? Sure the car wasnt designed for this but what model was?? And what model is still that model under the skin when in this class? Obviously hes having fun and has the brains and skills to have this kind of fun.

Most of the time, I just cant understand some of you guys. It seems that almost daily theres a car thats pulled from some for sale ad or gallery, placed here, and bashed, flamed and ridiculed...... I just dont see the point.

Sifting through all these kind of threads to get to the good info or questions is getting hard to do

But I really think that a 944 roaring down the strip and beating mustangs, camaros, pontiacs, and dodges is a really cool thing. Come-on, if you were flipping through the channels and saw a 944 warming up to race a vette or mustang, tell me you wouldnt stop and watch it; and if he won, tell me you wouldnt feel a little good.

Look at it this way. The guy probably picked up a dumpy 44 that was only good for a tub. I don't think he ruined a car; He created a totally different beast. Would i buy it, hell no!! But you gotta admit, looks like he did some good work. The paint is the exception to that though...

Not that my opinion matters, but that thing is BAD-THE-F*CK-A$$

The craftmanship is outstanding. Whoever built it put a lot of time and money into the details.

My thoughts exactly! I give a thumbs up to whoever made it. They didn't just hack something together, they made a badass quarter car who can hold its own. Props to them.

I need to get a parachute for my car... Why not do something creative with a 944 tub?

Not what I'd do, but it looks like it was well done!
