are you trying to make a cabriolet or maybe something similar to this ... (i know it is a different car, but at this stage you have options.)

in the last couple of pics you can see i pointed it forward. so no.
yes. the chassis flexes and shakes a-lot. as soon as i cut the roof the chassis seperated like half an inch.
its still pretty solid though.
Im not building anything....
the ride height in the back went from 1/2" to like 2-1/2"
so much weight...this thing flies btw. reminds me of that artivcle where they chopped that corolla up and kept doing quarter miles.

Im actually parting the car and I thought I would have some last bit of fun with it before I take the body off.
the crazy thing is its so much fun right now I dont even want to continue. lol. right now Im cutting the rear quarters off. open-wheeled all the way!
