If you ever remove both hood struts on the 944 you will know its steel real quick. It's not that light at all. Open a Gen 1 Miata aluminum hood if you want feel a light hood

have you modified the shifter? the stock one is huge. I'd change that for aesthetics....kinda like the Corvette auto, or 928....that is unless you learn to drive a stick.

no way your hood is aluminum either. good hood shocks you have my son.

Do you have a stock exhaust? I'm desperate to find an exhaust that sounds more inspiring than the stock setup.

Stock exhaust. It's enough for me! I set off car alarms as I putt toward my underground parking space. Though maybe there's something amiss because it has one hell of a bass rumble that really turns heads (this is my second exhaust system, by the way).

Regardless, what I got is more than enough to kick the crap out of the local fart can drivers.
