someone needs to come to Charlotte and pick-up a few of the spare parts I have for an 85.5 NA

nice Bishoff OE Catback exhaust/muffler
stripped control arm in perfect condition with new bushings
some assorted small parts and tools

free for the taking. I've been trying to give it away for 2 years now - sure would hate to take it to the dump.

I'm putting in a vote for a mid to late September GTG. I will be in and out of town through early and mid October so probably won't be able to make any dates during that time.

I'm not sure if the exhaust would fit my S but i'll research it and if it does i'm more than willing to take it off your hands, as well as whatever else I can get. Mid to late Sept is good for me as well so I second that vote

Joe bring the control arms, I would love to have them. If you can't bring them shoot me a pm with your phone number, I will pick them up this weekend while I am in Charlotte. I could use a spare set to rebuild.

Please guys just put some dates up, I am up for anytime except September 20 and a dated in October (can't remember).

As for the drive, is a short 45 minute drive the way we want to do it with maybe a lunch break somewhere?

Richard, I'm not available for Sept. 27th, how about an October date as this month is almost half over already?
Oct. 25 would be ideal for me but I'm also open to other dates in October.
The weather in October is almost perfect IMO, we could have our own Fall Octoberfest.

October 25 is the PCA Fall Tour. Leaving Porsche - Hickory Saturday morning, the tour takes us through Spruce Pine and to Blowing Rock. The Green Park Inn, Blowing Rock is the host hotel for Saturday night.

Becca and I have not missed a Spring or Fall Tour in 3 some odd years.

Y'all have your drive on the 25th if that is the consensus. We'll catch up with you on the next GTG.

Also, a PCA AX on October 11th at Porsche - Greensboro. We would love to see some more 944/951/968s out dodging the cones.

The 4th is good for me. Becca will not be attending.

It would be a good day for me to be "out of town". Becca will be throwing her 26 yo daughter "out of the house" and she already has help lined up. I don't want to be there.

Spiday, if the 4th works out, want to meet at Shoneys in Statesville and drive to Hendersonville? If you are by yourself, I can leave the 944 there and will be happy to navigate.
