Unhappy part car or sell it as is?

Sadly I crashed my car into a concrete barrier the other day. I spun out trying to pass someone right after getting on the highway and couldn't correct it.

I'm thinking of parting it out or just selling the whole thing as is. It has a vitesse stage II kit, SFR 3" from the downpipe back, LSD transmission w/ <10k miles on the rebuild. The engine's pretty used at 240k but was running after the crash. Interior is burgundy with script seats in good shape.

I live in the city and don't really have any space to store it to rip apart, but the shop I towed it to has offered to pull the parts off for a price if I don't want to sell it to them.
Any advice on parting vs. selling it to a shop/Lart/someone else to part?

I say sell it to someone to part, but I am biased. How much do you want for it?

If you have to pay someone to pull the parts for you it will not be worth your while especially at shop rates. Sell it whole to someone.

Hey at least that LSD is still going to be worth a lot.

And that front end damage....

...that'll buff right out.

Glad you're okay, and if you don't have time to part it yourself than selling it whole to someone would be better.

I say you be able to get $1500 and up even with the mileage as it sits. If you find the right buyer, you may even get $2500.

Glad you're ok, that looks like it may have hurt. If you don't have the time or space...collect the insurance cheque and sell it to someone whole.

Wow...your front rims are quite dirty.

Part it out. You'll likely get more.

Man, that was some hit you took! Sounds like the little 951 took it like a champ though, as you don't appear to be hurt? I can't emphasize enough how important that is!

As for the car, find a storage unit for a month and part that baby out with some friends over a couple of weekends. Track your inventory on a spreadsheet and sell away. I've seen people on here recover enough cash that way to buy another car.
