Tim-
Looks great for a race car!

What size exhaust are you running and does that "thing" on the end really help w/ the noise reduction (I got blacked flagged last year at RA) and does it reduce your HP much?

Also PM sent

Did you really try to embed a 36 minute video?

Looks good, but I have my comp muted so as to not attract the attention of my wife, She has no idea what I am doing right now...

I've got a 2.5" straight pipe with a supertrapp weld on. Currently running 20 discs which keeps the noise down and has only a minor effect on HP. I ran a completely open pipe last year and never got back flagged but my co-drivers for the 8-hr race at RA in December convinced me that we would hate that much noise for that long of a race. With this setup, I can easily hear the radio.

Tim,
The car looks great! I know it was a lot of work; see you at the track this weekend.

Thanks Tom, I'm looking forward to trying out the new brakes, wheels and wider tires. I ordered some stuff from Ron today, he is putting in some items for you, remind me to give them to you at the track. If you need them before this weekend, give me a call.

Those videos are quite fun to watch. The Corvettes really move and that Mini was quick as well. You seemed to find your groove about 10-11 min. into both vids. Thanks for posting!

Hey Tim,
No race trips in the budget this year. New house is great, but eating more than all the disposable income! Come on out to our new track in August! www.highplainsraceway.com. Not much in the way of facilities yet, but the track itself looks like it's going to be fantastic!

Great looking track, I enjoyed the rFactor videos. Will download it and give it a try on my computer at home. Not sure my budget has a trip to CO in it this year

Won't know until I download the video that I shot. Even with larger diameter tires, my shift points came earlier Car was not twitchy at all, very smooth (guess that means I should go even faster!). The 968 brake setup is awesome running the Hawk DTC60's and the 5/33 valve. Now I just need to unlearn my old brake points

Quite a few people came up to me and asked if I got a new car, when I told them I didn't, they were in disbelief. On the way home I was stopped at a redlight and two kids in a mustang pulled up and yelled, "man, that car looks badass". I can tell you that no one ever said that last year
