Swimming pool in the back...
Drivers side rear cubby hole was almost full with water the other day after a hard rain. Where would this water have come from?
Thanks!

Search the board. Commoon problem but it's usually the passenger side.
Simple answer. Almost anywhere.
Check that you don't have a rotted spot under the battery tray.
Drains, the 944 has approx 1,200,365 drain tubes so that one could take a while to check.
Sunroof seal.

Drivers side rear cubby hole?
=
Rear side storage compartment between the rear wheel and tail lights?
If so sunroof drains or a bad hatch seal. Or even a loose or unsealed rear tail light if traveling.
Lots of "suction" in the back of the car. Causes water (and exhaust fumes) to be pulled in around the tail lights and/or a bad hatch seal.
Supposed to be a one way rubber drain **** in the bottom of these storage areas. So it seems that the designers figured that they would see a bit of water during "normal" use.
