New Wheels
Well, after religiously scouring craigslist everyday for the past few months, I finally found a good deal on a set of wheels.
They're Kinesis K18R, 18"x8" and 18"x10".
They were being sold by a high end car dealer, and they were taken off a NB 996.
The guy selling them called them "Kinetic" wheels, listed them as 18"x9" and 18"x11", and spelled Porsche wrong on the craigslist add...twice.
I think that's why they were relisted a couple times. No one was searching for "Porche" on craigslist.
Teaser pics:
Freshly washed and waxed:
I also picked up some brand new tires off craigslist.
225/40/18 and 285/30/18, Sumitomo HTRZ II.
I'm having them mounted and balanced this weekend, but I probably won't put them on the car for a month or so. It's still too cold outside for summer tires.

Did you find those in Canada?
Going to be in Vancouver next week... if they are gone from your garage you will know where they went Of course that will require some Air Canada extra baggage charges, but I am sure that will ocst less than the UPS charges on my most recent wheels...

Heh. Thanks everyone.
I'll definately post pics when they're on the car.
Ya, I found them local. Only 10 minutes from my work.
Sadly, for the past couple months, I have been checking craigslist like every 2 hours. When I saw the ad, I left work early with cash in hand.
You have to be ready to pounce.
I'll definately post pics when they're on the car.

Those are sweet! I'm actually looking for a pair just like those for my car.
Btw, for anyone who is interested, you can search Craigslist nationwide just by going to Google and typing the following.. (but minus the "+")
Craigslist + "whatever you're looking for in quotation marks"
I've found numerous deals this way..

lets you search multiple cities at once... I usually just search cities in a 1 hr drive, cuz i'm lazy that way
