Power seat wiring ?
Ok....I've done this far too many times lately. I just got my seats back from the upholstery shop today and went to replace the two seat switches. Unfortunately, I have misplaced the piece of paper I had written down where wires go. Can somebody take a look and let me know where things are supposed to go? I would more than appreciate it.
First off, there are the red and brown wires going into the main connector. I'm thinking the rear switch feeds into the even number slots on the connector (2468 don't know which) and the front switch feeds into odd(1357).
Next, the green and purple striped wires plug into the motors. The motors are marked with numbers: 1 and 2 I believe. Which wire plugs where?
Thanks so much for your help. I need to stop working when I'm tired and organize a little better.
Cheers, Josh

Actually if someone could just look under the seat and tell me which locations (2468) on the main connector are filled, that would help. I can figure out the rest. You should be able to pull the seat all the way forward and separate the connector to see the "prongs". Thanks.

Nevermind. I need to rely more on my education and less on wiring schematics. As soon as I looked at the wiring closer I realized how the circuit is wired and it all made sense.
Just incase anyone finds this doing a search, it doesn't matter how it is wired as long as the brown and red wires are opposite positions (12, 34, 56, 78).
Cheers, Josh
