Question Torque specs for upper coolant neck/nozzle on NA?

I just need the torque specs for the coolant nozzle/neck on the front of the head where the bleed screw is and the upper coolant hose attaches, I couldn't find them in my book or on clarks garage.

Also does anyone recommend putting any type of sealant on the new gasket? It looks like it has a slight bead of something already on it but I really hate coolant leaks so I am on the fence about it.

I really dont think the torque specs for a non load bearing part like that is important at all, just make it snug tight but not Hercules tight. Permatex Grey is fine. Its like trying to find the torque specs to a hose clamp, just tighten it.

no sealant- clean the surfaces. Snug it down by hand. i hate torque specs on some things because you end up stripping things out.

I found M8 @ 20 Nm in the 944 Spec notebooks unless they describe the part wrong. I use Permatex Gray also, good stuff and works well even when applied real thin. I just tighten it by commen sense though.

In any case, it's a bad English translation (ginglish) but I'm sure this is what you're looking for:

I don't typically use any sealant, but if you have any doubts about how clean and flat the surfaces are and can't get them an better, Chirs_v and KuHL suggestiosn of permatex grey is a good one (used VERY sparingly).
