For someone with a n/a that is looking to rid the diving board front bumper, this kit might be appealing. however, the stock turbo looks better in raw form hands down...just my .02 cent though.

That rear bumper is also made by Lester http://www.lester.it/it/dettaglio.php?a=2160 .Before i got my 944,when i was still looking for one i saw a very low mileage silver '44 with that rear bumper.I wanted to buy it because it really looked great,even made plans for it,first on the list was to throw in the garbage the rear bumper,unfortunately somebody else beat me to it.

I realize this is an old thread but I just wanted to check something. I just acquired, what I believe to be a 1989 944 Turbo, with a Gamballa rear bumper and maybe the running boards as well. I'm only guessing on the year as I have no title yet; hopefully I can get one. Can anyone give me any hints on what I can look for to nail down what this car actually is? It seems to only have a partial Gamballa kit, no interior parts; plus the front bumper looks stock for the car?

Awesome!!! Love gemballas!
I think the body kit was made for n/a, that's why only the rear and skirts can be used on the turbo.
If you're thinking about getting rid of the kit I'm interested!!

As for the year of your car, check the VIN number. Count the 10th character in, it should be a letter.
G = 1986
H = 1987
J = 1988
K = 1989
Also, if you open up the hatch, and look under the deck carpet in the spare tire well, you will see a white paper sticker (kind of placed in between the tail lights) And this sticker should provide all sorts of useful information, including special option codes.
