DD - I'm curious why you went with the oil pump studs rather than the kit from 944online.
That seems like the ticket to me - they're even slightly different lengths which agrees with my measurements on the block. |

I always use the factory fasteners with plenty of antiseize upon reassembly and havent ever had a problem taking apart anything that i have assembled.
