On my seats i pulled the plastic cover off the hinge area and on the back of the seat (underneath the plastic trim piece) you can see where they folded the leather up underneath itself in the process of putting the leather cover on. There is easily enough material on the flap folded under the leather to cut a 1"x1" square out of for the color matching process.

I used Magic Mender with good results. www.magicmender.com. Only problem was figuring out what color dye to order. I thought my seats were linen, but after 3 or 4 exchanges found that they were champignon.

Chuck, can you justify the negative comments on Leatherique. There have been many posts here of people using it and very happy with the results. They are also a site sponsor, so if their support is not good we should all know about it. Detailed Image - Site Sponsor. What were your issues with the product/service?

Here are a few people on this board who have had excellent results:

Cheers all. The illuminated gear lever came from Germany with different styles and lit in either blue, red, yellow or white. I bought mine from the UK ebay but after some searching here's the USA link http://stores.shop.ebay.com/Innovati...__W0QQ_armrsZ1
