Default What are these wheels worth?

I recently bought some 17" Cup 2 wheels and am going to Craigslist my 15" phone dials/tires. I'm not sure what I should ask as they are probably the nicest condition PD wheels I have have ever seen. I dont want to "lowball" myself. The tires were put on by the PO 5k ago and were $327.00.

I hope this isnt in violation of the rules here but I'm not selling them yet. They are still on my car and I'm still in the process of choosing tires for the new wheels. I may not even sell them at all. Just trying to ballpark their value given the condition.

Thanks,

Mike

They might sit for a while, but ballpark would be $500 MAX... as they will only fit on a N/A I believe... Craigslist might get a bite... but be prepared to sit and wait..

Good luck, some times 15 inchers are difficult to get rid of...

Yeah, I was thinking $350 but didnt really know with the tires. I see some ratty PD's going for $200.

Anyone have a recommendation for performance all season tires? Will these caps fit Cup 2 wheels? They came with hand painted ones but might sell them to offset the spacer cost.

Tires tend not to make too much of an issue on wheel sales of this type. Though there are people that buy wheels just for Tires due to the better price sometimes.

I had a really nice set of 15" Phonies that I sold for around $300 back when people still had money. Though you should be able to still get at least $300-$400 for them. If you can sell them to a VW owner, they tend to pay more for them.

Craigslist will be the best way to sell them.

The Center Caps all Fit with different wheels from Porsche (Except Fuchs). Main issue sometimes is the Finish Color not matching.

I have Falken Ziex on m 951... NOT A WET WEATHER FRIENDLY TIRE... or maybe it's just the car... car is very well mannered on dry ground, add in some rain, and I have to watch the boost as it will lose traction...

My Audi has Sumithomo HTR+ tires, and they have been great, with little road noise and amicable handling characteristics in all weather conditions.. but cost almost double what my Falkens cost...

I sold a 15" black painted set with used race tires for $100 on ebay. Kinda sucked but at the time I didn't expect the price to get much higher.

I sold my 7x15s for $225 five years ago to a 944 Spec owner. This size is required for them and they are getting somewhat scarce apparently. I saw a set on eBay a couple days ago and the price was at $405.
