Default What happened to Guru Racing?

Just wondering... I installed some Guru chips back in 2002, love them, but now it is time to retune the car and wanted to see if they are still around?

Guru is long gone. Danno was great with cars, horrible at business.

Contact these guys.

Do a search in the Turbo forum if you want to read all the gory details. You are one of a small group of satisfied customers or customers who received their orders. As stated above, time for you to move on to a new tuner.
I talked with a friend of Danno's and he is doing fine but no longer supporting Guru chips or Racer X.

I have his AFM/Map 'Link' Programmer setup on the silver car but will be selling it. It ran fine when the car was on the road but I went with a MaxTune. He actually emailed me about 18 months ago with advice. He did know his cars.

Last I talked to him he promised to send me out some free chips for testing purposes but I never recieved them. That was 2 years ago and since he didn't ask for any money I guess I can't really complain. He was prompt at giving advice about his products right up until he closed down. I had no issues with him at all. The quality of his chips were random at best which that combined with bad business practices led to Guru's demise.
