Post Oil level control unit???

Has anyone ever heard of an oil level control unit? If so, where is it located on a 1987 924S? The reason why I ask is because my oil level light is on. There is plenty of oil in the car. The oil level sensor is working properly and has the correct amount of ground. the only thing between the sensor and the idoit light is the oil level control unit.

The wiring diagram for an '87 924S does indeed show a relay labelled "oil level conrol unit." It doesn't show where it is located, but it is in the central electric relay panel. It gets its switched power from the "control unit radio and lifting roof." It grounds to the same grounding point as your instrument cluster, on the driver's side inside firewall.

If it is in the central electric relay panel then it should not be hard to spot. Is the central electric relay panel the one right above my left foot?

Oops, my bad. that should read "... it is not located in the central electric panel."

I think it must be located near the instrument cluster. It has five 0.5 sq. mm wires connected to it:

brown, to instrument cluster ground
black/sw (BL/SW), from oil pressure sensor
SW/RT, from Control Unit Radio & Lifting Roof
WS/GE, from oil level sensor
black/green (BL/GN), to idiot lite on instrument cluster.

Sorry, I don't know what the SW, WS, RT or GE colour abbreviations mean.
