I think the idea with the lexan one is for dedicated track car stuff only. They probably just stuck it on that car for fitment testing and pictures.

OK... I'll admit it, I had them on a Camaro (they came with it). They are totally functional, kept the interior much cooler in the hot NM sun. They also flop around at high speed, and leave marks in the glass.
