Strip it down, going to go with 944 suspension and brakes so I can beef them up, lose as much weight as possible and then get the proper seats, cage and everything done so i can take her to the track. Right now as it stands I just got a sparco seat on it's way tonight from hoosier daddy who was selling some stuff.
Right now i'm almost done with weight reduction. A LOT of the crap has been removed, up to and including seats, carpets, sound deadening, interior pieces, emissions, the associated pumps, toolkits, and the stock seats. She sat outside someone's house for 10 years and was pretty much left to die. It's an interesting story about how it got that way..... but the owner was happy to give it up to a home that would restore it. Went from "May as well scrap me" to a drivable car that's back on the road. If you're interested in the worklogs PM me, i've got about 40 pages of work logs with pictures of it's progress

I'm always happy to see other people that are insane enough to put "parts cars" back on the road. I went though this a few years ago, and I went the "totally stock daily driver" route. I haven't done anything other than basic maintenance in over a year, and have been driving it just about every day, including several 4+ hour trips.
It's a lot more satisfying to drive something you brought back from the dead and made into a rock solid dd/track car than to just buy it. At least for me.

That's a great car. And don't worry about the paint imperfections--take it to the track and you'll forget all about the little things while you grin from ear to ear.
