I had an A6 2.7T and that engine is a goldmine of potential horsepower. But like a goldmine, you can get buried if you're not careful!

S8 had either the N/A V8 or V10 (depending on year/generation). You are thinking of the C5 RS6 which had the TT V8. The C6 RS6 has a TT V10.

Default Modified 968 Bridge Spoiler

I'm working on this project. I picked up a cheap 944 hatch with hoop spoiler, I really like the look of the 968 adjustable spoiler but didn't even want to think about purchasing one. I basically took the stock hoop spoiler, cut it on a band saw and made aluminum plates to cap the ends. So far it has taken allot of fiber glass work to get the gaps perfect, the hoop spoiler was also badly fitted so I has to do may adjustments to get it looking right. As you can see it needs to be prepped for paint, I plan to paint the frame black and the hoop guards red.

once i went 120mph in a 944 and i really felt a point where things changed, the car got lower and more stable the faster i went... it was nice.

you can really notice a difference in "planted" feeling over 100mph with the sunroof open vs closed. im guessing air being deflected over the roof rather than down to the spoiler is the reason for this. it feels sorta skittish at that speed. however with the roof closed...solid.
